No More Boots® — SkiClicker® Tech

Mount tech
bindings.
No boots
needed.

SkiClicker® Tech replaces the ski boot when you mount tech bindings. The Hammerhead shaped toepiece lets you fasten the screws with the tool still clicked in — so every binding leaves the bench in perfect alignment.

How it works

Perfect alignment.
Three steps.

Getting the toe and heel piece aligned is the fiddly part of every tech binding mount. SkiClicker® Tech takes the boot out of it — and stays clicked in while you drive the screws.

1

Set the sole length

Dial in the customer's boot sole length on the scale — anywhere from 255 to 355 mm. No boot has to leave the shelf.

2

Click it in

Insert SkiClicker® Tech into the binding in place of the boot. Toe and heel piece are held in exact relation to each other.

3

Fasten the screws

The Hammerhead shaped toepiece leaves the screws reachable, so you tighten them with the tool still clicked in — alignment locked in as you go.

The Hammerhead

Tighten the screws
without letting go.

The shape of the toepiece is the whole idea. It clears the screw holes, so the binding is fastened while SkiClicker® Tech is holding the alignment — not after you have taken something out and hoped nothing moved.

  • Alignment is held, not checked. The tool stays in the binding through the entire mount.
  • Nothing shifts at the last moment. No removing a boot and re-seating the toepiece before the screws are down.
  • Repeatable across the bench. The same result on the first mount of the day and the last.

Alignment is not a finish detail

A toe piece fastened even slightly off-centre holds the boot at an angle to the ski. The binding is then working outside the geometry it was built and tested around, and its release behaviour can no longer be counted on. That risk does not stay in the workshop — it goes out on the hill with the skier.

One tool, every boot

Stop fetching
ski boots.

Using a customer's boot to align the toe and heel piece is slow and awkward — you fetch it, work around it, and put it back. SkiClicker® Tech does the same job across the full sole-length range, and never leaves the bench.

The partnership

Built in the Italian
Motor Valley.

ATK Bindings began in 2007 in Fiorano Modenese, when Giovanni Indulti set out to improve an old and bad-tempered ski touring binding. They were born in the heart of the Italian Motor Valley, where precision mechanics from the automotive industry became a mark of Italian excellence.

Almost two decades later their entire production still runs in the same facility. Their mission is to improve backcountry skiing through lightweight binding design — and that same precision engineering is what makes SkiClicker® Tech hold its alignment.

FAQ

Common questions.

The Hammerhead shaped toepiece keeps the binding screws reachable while the tool is clicked in. That means you fasten the toepiece with the alignment physically held in place, rather than setting it up, removing a boot, and hoping nothing shifted before the screws went down.
Different job, different tool. SkiClicker® Senior and Junior are for adjusting and mounting alpine bindings with Alpine and GripWalk soles — the daily workhorses in a rental shop. SkiClicker® Tech is a precision mounting tool for adjustable tech bindings. Most workshops that do both keep both.
Any tech binding with an adjustable heel piece — which covers the large majority of tech bindings on the bench today. The exception is bindings with a fixed heel: there the heel position is set by the mount itself, so the boot still has to be present when you drill.
255 to 355 mm, set on the scale along the body of the tool. That covers adult boots, so one SkiClicker® Tech replaces every boot you would otherwise carry to the bench.
It is designed by No More Boots in Sweden, and engineered and produced by ATK Bindings in Fiorano Modenese, Italy. ATK have built ski touring bindings in the same facility since 2007.
